The second film I submitted for the QIFF (Quarantine International Film Festival) turned out to be one of the most gratifying to create. Conceived and fully executed within one week, Dry Heat was born. Filmed entirely in my attic, which was at a constant 90-degrees, the discomfort put into the film greatly affected the tone and grittyness that ended up being created.
