Synopsis

A play that takes place behind a theater. An insane twist on the coming-of-age genre as love, mania, prophecy, and the apocalypse comes raining down on a motley crew of Oklahoma youths! What’s real? What’s not? Will the world withstand?

In my last year of undergrad, I was asked to help design lighting for a fellow student's original play. The challenge: design a fully lit show outside with minimal electricity. I took this challenge and spent about 3 months teaching myself the intricacies of DMX, taking no easy road. I also made it a goal to have sound and lights synched up, controlled via my laptop, as I'd be the only one who was able to man the board. This project was a wonderful conclusion to my theatre expedition throughout college.
